I'd like to be able to bookmark my place in a book. Sometimes I fall asleep listening, but sometimes it takes a while so a bookmark is really handy in finding my place

Seek Buttons Broken Across Chapters
If you press 10s back mid chapter it works correctly, but if you press it at the beginning of a chapter such that it would bring you to the previous chapter, it seeks all the way back to the beginning of the previous chapter. Found while tapping it back 10s at a time trying to find where I missed something and then it starting jumping back chapters every tap (since it was at the beginning of the chapter every seek).

Seek backward/forward on lock screen rather than previous/next chapter
My main use case for the buttons on the lock screen is when I didn’t hear hear/understand something, i.e. short jumps. The previous/next chapter buttons can’t be used for this as the jumps would be too long. For what it’s worth, I don’t think I’ve ever used the next/previous chapter button even with the phone unlocked (I either use the seek button or the chapter list).

Similar to how Kindle does it. Not sure if this is possible with plex but it like to be able to use plex profiles to grant my kids access to a subset of my library. They would have the app on their phone but when I logged them in they would O ly have access to books for their profile.

Fix android auto wheel buttons
Steering wheel buttons when using android auto control chapter skip, but it would be better if they controlled the short skips (e.g. 10s back/45s forward). Other audiobook apps do it this way. At least make it an option.

Audiobook Art Doesn't load on downloaded books
Love the app but one small problem is that when I play my downloaded books (offline) no cover art appears, just a blank grey square. The art loads in the list view in downloads, just not when you click on the individual books.

I installed Bookcamp on my Sony NW-AW306 (a Sony 'Walkman' running Android), but after I add the Plex account, I'm stuck at the 'Fantastic, you're now signed in' screen and my library isn’t presented. App version 2.1.2.

Allow playing while in a phone call
Sometimes I’m on long phone calls where the other person mutes while they do something for long enough for me to want to continue listening to my book while I wait for them to get back. Currently the instantly pauses if I try to unpause while on a phone call.

Sound indicator that the book is about to be auto-paused
When using the sleep timer to auto-pause the book after a set time, it would be nice to get some clue that it’s about to pause. I’ve seen two options for this: Start drastically lowering the volume just before it’s paused Play a “pling” sound a some time before it’s paused I prefer the 2nd option. The implementation I’ve seen plays a sound (adjustable volume) ~30 seconds before it pauses, and another one ~5 seconds before it pauses (I guess this could also be adjustable). This allows me to postpone the pause without breaking the stream of content. The implementation I’ve seen of the 1st option rewinds the book to when it started lowering the volume so it sometimes unnecessarily repeats parts of the book. It’s also sometimes hard to grasp if the volume is lowered because it’s about to pause or if the narrator lowers their voice because of the context in the book. If there is a bit of a longer pause in the book, we get even less time to notice is if it’s about to pause or not which sometimes makes me think “was the book paused now or is it just the narrator?”.

"Dynamic range compression" - reduce the difference between loudest and quietest sound
Some people are very in-character when narrating so they end up screaming, and sometimes they whisper. This can be pretty annoying, especially when I'm trying to sleep. Either I don't hear things, or I get a heart attack by someone screaming. I’d love a feature to make the sound more consistent so the quieter sounds are louder, and the louder sounds are quieter. This seem to be called dynamic range compression. One might need to do something else too, to e.g. reduce/remove the sound of breathing.
