👋 It's been a minute since the last update, but I've been hard at work making Bookcamp for Android more reliable than ever! This release squashes over 20 bugs, including some really annoying ones that were reported multiple times recently.

But here's the exciting part: Bookcamp 3 is only a few months away! 🚀 This release will introduce many changes for both Android and iOS (finally!) and I can't wait to show you what's coming very soon. I'll also be opening up a bigger beta testing group to help shape the next chapter of Bookcamp, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, here’s everything that has changed in this new update:

Sync 🔄

• Improved stability when switching apps or locking device while sync is in progress (especially for large libraries/slow connections)

• Added sync progress notification

Playback 🎵

• Fixed playback randomly stopping and notification disappearing on Android 15/16

• Fixed playback failures with invalid SSL certificates on Plex servers

Library 📚

• Fixed alphabetical sorting when "sort title" not set in Plex

• Fixed book status not updating when looking at author details

• Fixed stacked cover preview changing with sort selection in collections

• Fixed search results not clearing with search text

• Fixed fullscreen player not showing when starting books from some screens

• Fixed book selection from author details not displaying correctly

Android Auto 🚘

• Fixed downloaded books not being used when starting books from Auto UI

• Fixed network recovery not working on Android Auto

• Fixed lost logs issues on unstable networks
